Medium: Watercolor

Cary has undergone rapid growth in population as well as multicultural diversity. Art knows no boundaries. It speaks a universal language that has brought us together.

We are three Cary artists, Lyudmila, Rani and Joe, from vastly different countries and cultures residing within zip code 27519. We have found friendship through our common passion of creating art. This show is sparked by our love of watercolor and the camaraderie that has grown as we explore the world of art. Not only have we grown as artists but have learned about each other’s cultures and perspectives on the world. We met at Lyudmila’s watercolor class at the Town of Cary. We quickly became friends and realized that we also live in the same neighborhood. Lyudmila Tomova is an award-winning professional artist and teacher born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria, Rani Ray is from Calcutta, India and Joe Godfrey is from Boston, Massachusetts.
