Town Hall Campus
The campus is downtown on North Academy Street near the railroad tracks. It includes the Herbert C. Young Community Center, Page-Walker Arts & History Center, and Town of Cary office buildings at 316 N Academy St. and 120 Wilkinson Ave.

• 316 N Academy St. houses most of the Town's departments: Administration, Finance, Human Resources, the Town Manager's Office, the Town Attorney's Office, the Town Clerk's Office, Inspections & Permits, Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources, Planning and Development Services, Water Resources, and Transportation & Facilities.

• 120 Wilkinson Ave. houses Police and Information Technology.

• 101 Wilkinson Ave. is the location of the Herbert C. Young Community Center.

• 119 Ambassador Loop is the location of the Page-Walker Arts and History Center.

Other Town Locations

• 100 N Academy St. is the location of Fire administrative offices.

• 400 James Jackson Ave. is the location of Public Works and Utilities Operations Center.

Getting to Town Hall from Outside Cary

From Interstate 40 West
Take exit 290 onto N.C. 54/Chapel Hill Road. Turn left and continue west for two miles on Chapel Hill Road until you reach North Academy Street. DO NOT TAKE NC Highway 54 when it turns right. Stay on Chapel Hill Road until it intersects with North Academy Street. Turn left onto Academy Street and turn left again just before the railroad tracks onto Town Hall campus.

From Interstate 40 East
Take exit 287 onto North Harrison Avenue. Continue south on North Harrison about three miles to Chapel Hill Road. Turn left at the traffic light. Go one block to North Academy Street and turn right. Turn left just before the railroad tracks onto Town Hall campus.

From I-440 North
Exit at Hillsborough Street and follow Hillsborough Street to Chapel Hill Road. Follow it to the intersection of North Academy Street and turn left. Turn left again just before the railroad tracks onto Town Hall campus.

From I-440 South
Follow the "Shopping Centers/Walnut Street" exit and turn left onto Walnut Street. Follow Walnut Street to where it intersects with Maynard Road and turn right. Go to East Chatham Street and turn left. Follow East Chatham Street to North Academy and turn right. Go across railroad tracks and turn right onto Town Hall campus.

From US 1 and 64
Take I-40 West and Airport exit. Follow I-40 West to exit 290. Take exit 290 onto N.C. 54/Chapel Hill Road. Turn left and continue west for two miles on Chapel Hill Road until you reach North Academy Street. DO NOT TAKE HIGHWAY 54 when it turns right. Stay on Chapel Hill Road until it intersects with North Academy Street. Turn left onto North Academy Street. Turn left again just before the railroad tracks onto Town Hall campus.

(Spaces required - 681. Spaces provided - at least 838)

• 486-space above-ground parking garage open beside Herb Young Community Center
• 7 spaces added along North Academy Street
• 36-space lot remains in front of Herbert C. Young Community Center
• Parking spaces remain near buildings A and B off Academy Street near railroad tracks
• Easternmost parking areas (farthest from Academy Street) remain open to employees and visitors

Other Locations

• The Public Works & Utilities Operations Center is at 400 James Jackson Ave., and is about midway between Maynard Road and Cary Parkway.
• Fire Department administrative offices are across the railroad tracks from the campus.
