“A painting is a story. I’m interested in telling the hard-edged stories of rural American life, as seen along the roadside in the form of abandoned clapboard farmhouses, deteriorating barns, and the rusted-out, lonely tractors and pickup trucks silently deteriorating at the edge of an old crop row or underneath the awning of an old barn. I find that each has a forgotten spirit that I’m attempting to rekindle." For more, Galleries.
