Artist Statement: “Part of Cary's charm are the historic buildings and homes that can be found, not only in Downtown, but in the surrounding areas. I have been fascinated with these structures and decided to seek out and find buildings that were in various states of repair and paint them before they disappeared from the landscape or were altered forever by new uses. Many people will recognize the Carpenter Feed Store or the shops on West Chatham Street today. But how long will they remain part of the fabric of Cary? See if you can find them as you drive around town. How many of them do you pass every day but didn't know they were historic? Enjoy these snippets of Cary's history.” For more, Galleries.
