Sharon Hardin's work is organic, with forms evolving from nature, experience and imagination. The paintings are created using transparent watercolor in a traditional manner-- no white or black pigment -- to create decidedly nontraditional effects. Some works contain the additional element of embroidery thread sewn into the paper.
