Tours of our water and wastewater facilities are available year-round, free of charge and customized to the needs and time constraints of the group. The public is invited to tour these facilities by emailing planttours@carync.gov or calling the plants directly. 

We strive to process requests within three business days. Please consider the following tour guidelines when requesting a tour:

• Contact us at least two weeks in advance of your intended tour date.
• Tours can begin anytime between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.  
• We ask for a minimum of five participants but exceptions can be made at the discretion of the plant supervisor.
• Tours are available to fourth-grade students and older.
• For safety reasons, attendees and siblings younger than 10 are prohibited from participating in the tour.
• Chaperones are required for groups with children.

• For safety reasons we recommend close-toed shoes with flat soles.

Please understand that due to inclement weather or unexpected circumstances, your tour may be rescheduled.
