Adopt A Spot Program

Through the Adopt a Spot program, community members take a leadership role in their communities by selecting a location in Cary and committing to keeping it clean and litter-free.

Request Supplies

Complete and submit the Spruce Supply Request to request supplies for your event. Please note that supplies are limited and requests should be made at least two weeks (14 days) prior to your event.

Submit Project Report

After each volunteer experience, complete one of the below report forms to let us know the impact you've made.

Apply for a Spot

If you would like to apply to adopt a spot in Cary for you or your organization, please contact Tracey Filomena with your desired location or indicate if you would like a location suggested to you.

The Adopt a Spot program supports volunteers in keeping Cary clean and forever green through the adoption and improvement of communal spaces in Cary. Participating groups commit to keeping their site clean, litter-free, and beautiful throughout the year and in return are recognized with a sign where permitted. Options for adoption abound and include parks, greenways, streets, neighborhood areas, schools, and many other areas in our community.
