The Cultural Arts Committee serves as an advisory body to the PRCR Advisory Board. This committee offers input and perspective on cultural services and programs, Cary cultural facilities' operations, and works with staff to review and recommend funding for local cultural groups through the annual grant program.

Membership

The Cultural Arts Committee consists of eleven members in addition to the chairperson, one of which will be a Teen Council member and one of which shall be the Friends of the Page-Walker President or his/her designee. Members are appointed from within Cary's corporate limits. All appointments to the committee are for three-year terms, except where unexpired terms are being filled.

Meetings

The committee meets monthly at 6:00 p.m. typically in Conference Room #11130, 316 N. Academy St., Cary, and requires approximately 2 hours per month for meetings. Members may also be expected to volunteer time at major festivals and events and attend public meetings and cultural arts events.

All committee meetings are open to the public. Visit the Town's Web calendar to confirm meeting dates, times, and locations.
