The 2023 Cary Community Candidate Forum
Each year during municipal elections, Cary hosts a forum for candidates running for Town Council. This year, the District D race resulted in a runoff, and the below forum includes the two candidates in that race. Early voting is open now at select sites and Election Day is November 7.

District D Runoff
The 2023 District D race resulted in a runoff, which will be decided by voters on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. The below forum is also available for viewing on Cary TV at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. daily unless superseded by a Town Council meeting live cablecast or replay.
>Goals
Cary aims to promote fair, professional, dignified, and respectful dissemination of relevant information about candidates. We also aim to ensure equal opportunity and access to Cary’s cable and YouTube channels for discussing a wide variety of topics.
