The Town of Cary recently completed the most ambitious long-range planning effort in our community’s history by doing a wholesale update to our Comprehensive Plan. The process, "Imagine Cary," was built on the values, needs and aspirations of our citizens and resulted in several years of work, unprecedented community input, and dozens of meetings and workshops. The process set out a long-term vision, policies, and strategic actions with a time horizon out to 2040 and resulted in the January 24, 2017 adoption of the Cary Community Plan.
