Thank you for coming out to celebrate our first Pre-Juneteenth Spoken Word and Musical Event. Thanks to you we had a night of thought-provoking fun with Mistress of Ceremonies Brandi Q. Hancock, poet Wild Perfection, songstress Genesis Boggs, and Spoken Word featuring the poetry of the Piedmont Laureate, author, professor and writer Dasan Ahanu. 

Then the evening went to the next level with full audience participation and excitement for Raleigh-Durham's own NiiTO. This homegrown band blended R&B, Jazz, Soul, Go-Go, Funk & Pop that got everyone swaying to the music and dancing in their seats!
