Fred G. Bond Park Boathouse is committed to making its programs and the facility accessible to people of all abilities.

Access

The Boathouse and Screened Porch are one story. The Boathouse and Screened Porch are accessible via ramp from the sidewalk between the Boathouse and restroom building. The Boathouse has ADA-approved signage, handrails, and ramps to access the main entrances.

Drop Off & Parking

Convenient on-grade handicap van-accessible parking spaces are available in front of the Boathouse. Vehicles utilizing those spaces should display a handicap parking placard or plate.  

Restrooms

There is a wheelchair-accessible men’s and women’s restroom available. There is a wheelchair-accessible water fountain located on the sidewalk beside the ramp and adjacent to the restrooms.

Sign Language Interpretation

The Boathouse can provide sign language interpretation for guests who require it for events occurring at the Boathouse. Please request this service 30 days in advance of the event.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome at the Boathouse provided they remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. If you are bringing a service animal to an event, please notify the staff when you arrive.
