Safety Equipment Required by NC State Law
The following safety equipment is required for participants of all ages:
- Skateboard: helmet, elbow pads, knee pads
- Bike and scooter: helmet, knee pads (elbow pads strongly recommended)
- Inline Skates: helmet, wrist guards, knee pads
- Rental Safety Equipment: $2 per pair of pads and $2 per helmet

Other Rules:
- All participants must complete registration requirements and pay fee prior to entering the course
- Skating in the parking lot or sidewalks is prohibited
- No skating, biking, or riding on the viewing deck
- Spectators are not allowed on the course
- No glass allowed on the course
- No food or drinks on the course
- No waxing
- Shirts, close-toed shoes, and required pads are to be worn at all times
- No foul language; respect all other participants and viewers.
- Bullying will not be tolerated
- No pets, including leashed dogs, are allowed on the premises
- No alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs
- No throwing snow, rocks, or other materials
- No inappropriate use of equipment

Participant/Rider Check In
Upon arrival session participants will check-in with staff at the front window. Participants under the age of 16 will need to have their parents check them in.
Once on the Course
- Riders must follow all facility rules to participate.
- Helmets and pads are required.
Observation Deck
- Table space is limited, and they will be limited to one family per use. Tables will be cleaned and disinfected after each session.
- Drink machines will be operational, cleaned, and disinfected after each session.
