NTC welcomes USA Baseball Executive Offices, Training Center

The National Training Complex is proud to be the official home of USA Baseball’s Executive Offices alongside the NTC Administrative Offices. The Executive Offices are located in a newly constructed 40,000 square-foot building which also houses a 22,000 square-foot Training Center. The Training Center, executive offices, and USA Baseball retail shop are conveniently located at the entrance to the National Training Complex here in Cary, NC.

Fields 3 and 4 back in play with new turf surface

Fields 3 and 4, complete with new artificial turf surfaces, are back in use at the USA Baseball National Training Complex. Field 2 and Coleman Field will remain field grass. 

Having turf fields provides NTC with numerous new options for activities and programs. The turf enhances the facility by making it available to users year-round, and reduces the number of games cancelled due to rain. The new infields have base anchors at multiple distances, opening up the fields for use by age groups beyond just those utilizing 60- or 90-foot bases.

On the new surfaces, teams and players are reminded to use only molded cleats or turf shoes - NO spikes.

Field request forms are currently being accepted for 2024 rentals only.

For Coleman Field and Field 2, we will be accepting requests March 29 - May 3, 2024 and September 6 - October 29, 2024 (Note: Coleman Field last request will be October 13)

For Field 3 & 4, we will be accepting requests March 29 - May 24, 2024 and September 6 - December 22, 2024.

Any dates requested between June 1 - September 5 will be reviewed after the USA Baseball schedules are released.  Requests during these times will be approved only if time and space allows.

Jere Morton
Lead Baseball Instructor

Jere Morton IV is a native of Cary, NC and has been on the part-time athletic staff with the Town of Cary since 2001. He graduated from Cary High in 2003. Morton pitched in college at Lenoir Community College in 2004 before transferring to NC State to complete his four-year degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management. Since NC State, he has earned a graduate certificate in special education from UNC-Charlotte. Morton has coached at the high school, showcase, American Legion, and collegiate levels. He has been a part of four state championships in his seven year coaching career. In addition to working with the Town of Cary, he is a local high school teacher and coach at Broughton High School. Morton currently resides in Fuquay-Varina with his wife and two daughters.

Park Hours of Operation

Sunrise to Sunset. In lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved extended-use activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the approved activity.

Park Rules and Regulations

Please be mindful of others at all times when using the park and its amenities.

• All pets, whether inside or outside the baseball complex, must be kept on a leash at all times
• Skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, etc. are prohibited inside the baseball complex
• Parking outside of designated areas is prohibited.
• All alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
• Damage to Plants and Turf is prohibited.
• Open Fires are prohibited except in designated areas.
• Injuring or endangering wildlife is prohibited.
