Home MenuHinshaw Greenway
Hinshaw Greenway is 1.7 miles of asphalt surface, connecting Maynard Drive to Marla Dorrel Park and crossing US Hwy 1/64 on a pedestrian bridge that is the site of a public art installation, Bowstring Vines. It runs through the Swift Creek Watershed and has some significantly-sized beech trees located just off the trail in the wooded northern section.
After crossing Seabrook Avenue heading south around MacDonald Woods Park, the trail runs through woods for a short distance, passing a connector greenway to Glengarry Drive and Pirate's Cove Greenway and then climbs switchbacks to the pedestrian bridge. On the other side of the bridge, the path drops back to a wetland passing the Piney Plains Greenway connector and ends at Marla Dorrel Park.
