Kit Creek Greenway parallels Louis Stephens Drive just north of Morrisville parkway and alongside Carpenter Elementary School passing between the Olde Carpenter and Carpenter Village Subdivisions. Future plans are for this greenway to extend about two miles north from the current end until it joins up with future sections of the Louis Stephens Street-Side Trail. From there, future street-side trails are planned to go all the way to Kit Creek Road at the northern edge of Cary.

Connects To: Carpenter Elementary School. Future connections planned to the Western Wake Regional Library and a number of future parks within the Carpenter Historic District.

DIRECTIONS

Morrisville Parkway entrance: The trail heads north alongside Carpenter Elementary School.  About halfway up the trail there is a spur on the right that is part of the Western Wake Library Greenway connector. Staying to the right will take the pedestrian or bicyclist directly back to the school.

April Bloom Lane entrance: Jump on the greenway here to head south towards Carpenter Elementary School.

Park on-street along Grace Hodge Drive for the Morrisville Parkway access point and along April Bloom Lane for the northern trail access.
