Northwoods Greenway connects Godbold Park on NW Maynard Road with NC 54 at West Boundary Street. From Godbold Park, the greenway splits left from Black Creek Greenway between Cary Action Sports and the Dog Park.
Northwoods Greenway drops down a hill, crosses a creek and then follows the creek east and south, crossing Northwoods Drive and continuing to NC 54, Chapel Hill Road, just east of Northwoods Elementary School.

Northwoods Elementary: At the intersection of NC 54 and West Boundary Street east of Northwoods Elementary School. Parking is on-street.
