Additional play features are being installed at Walnut Street Park. Work will take place Monday July 29 to Friday August 2. Current play areas will remain open and available during the construction.
Walnut Street Park is located in central Cary on 11 acres of land. Park visitors may stroll down the brick promenade, walk the scenic paved trails, overlook wetlands on boardwalks, play on our unique twisty play structure or have a picnic in the open lawn. Recent park improvements include the addition of two pickleball courts and a basketball court.

Park Hours
Sunrise to Sunset. In lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved extended use activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the activity or 11 p.m.
