What are the requirements to be a Contract Instructor?
To become a Contract Instructor, you must be an individual or a business that offers a unique program offering or fills a community need. In addition, you will be required to provide the following information:
- Submit a Program Proposal Form
- Cary Vendor Approval
- Specific Certifications and/or Documentation related to the program offerings.
- Certificate of Insurance (if applicable)
- Background Check Clearance
- Completion of an Annual Contract Agreement
How do I get more details on requirements and guidelines?
Please read through all the details in the Contract Instructor Requirements and Guidelines document.
What happens after I submit a Program Proposal Form?
The submitted forms go to every member of the PRCR Programming Team for review. If there is an interest in your proposal, a member of the team will reach out to you directly to discuss your proposal further. Submitting an online proposal does not guarantee PRCR will be able to or desire to offer your program.
The review process can take up to eight weeks. The following dates serve as a guideline for seasonal proposal submissions. Dates are in advance for PRCR to produce Seasonal Program Guides for marketing and promotions.
