Cancellation by Town

In the event that the Town cancels a program, class, or league in its entirety, registered participants will receive a 100% refund or account credit at the discretion of the participant. In the case that a cancellation occurs during the course of the program, class, or league, the refund or credit will be prorated.

Withdrawal by Participant

Cancellations can be made directly online through RecTrac as long as it meets the 7-day or 14-day policy for that Activity. The participant will receive a 100% refund or account credit at the discretion of the participant. For exception requests, email 311.

  • Any participant wishing to withdraw from an activity must do so at least 7 days prior to the scheduled start date or the first scheduled league game.
  •  ALL Summer Camps require requests to be at least 14 days prior to the scheduled start.

Withdrawal and cancellation requests after the 7-day or 14-day notice period will be granted but no refund will be given - with the exception of approved medical or hardship cases. Medical and hardship cases are considered on a case-by-case basis and may require additional documentation. In the instances of lost resources by Cary by granting a late withdrawal, a cancellation fee may be charged.

**Non-attendance or non-participation in an activity does not entitle the patron to a refund/credit.
