SNAP (Special Needs Assistance Program) was developed in order to meet the needs of citizens who require special medical care or who have disabilities. The Computer Aided Dispatch system provides for the entry of special medical information by address to advise responding public safety units.

Please note: The Cary Police Department does not provide residential security checks while homeowners are away from home. The purpose of this form is to notify public safety officials and first responders of any hazards and special needs, such as wheelchair-bound or limited mobility residents, the presence of medical devices in the home, and other specific needs.
