Express Review is a service that allows for faster examination of most commercial construction plans, including fit-ups and new buildings.

• It is held each week on Tuesdays & Thursdays, with appointments beginning at 1:30 pm.
• Express Review can shave weeks off the time it takes to obtain a building permit. Typically, applicants may expect to receive permits within 1-3 business days of an approved Express Review. 
• Please call Sue Wall, our Express Review Coordinator at (919) 460-4992 to discuss projects that are 10,000 square feet or larger and all new buildings prior to scheduling the Express Review so that we can discuss deadlines for plan submittal and schedule adequate time for the Express Review.
• Restaurant projects can only be scheduled for the 2:30 pm appointment time.
• Projects that involve hazardous materials will not be accepted as an Express Review.
• Cary continues to offer this service to assist those with commercial projects needing to meet financing deadlines and other timetables.
