On October 16, 2019, Public Art Advisory Board (PAAB) approved the Board's 2020-2021 Work Plan. The Public Art Advisory Board established in its Work Plan the task to recognize exceptional public art in private development projects in Cary.
COMMITTEE PURPOSE:
At their August 19, 2020 meeting, the PAAB formed a Recognition for Exceptional Public Art in Private Development Subcommittee comprised of the members listed above. The committee’s purpose is to advise the PAAB on a framework for the recognition program and recommend initial projects for recognition. The committee will undertake the following work:
- Research and formulate evaluation criteria to determine exceptional public art in Private Development projects in Cary.
- Provide recommendations to PAAB on ways to recognize those Developers and frequency.
- Review past private development projects and make recommendation(s) on initial project(s) to recognize.
The subcommittee presented a final report to PAAB at their January 2021 meeting. The PAAB dissolve the subcommittee at that time.
