Recruitment for 2023 appointments to Council-appointed boards, commissions, and committees closed June 30, and more than 170 interested citizens submitted applications. Council will begin reviewing applications, and appointments will begin terms on Oct. 1. Applications received after the June 30 deadline will be considered for appointment in 2024. Chatham County Early Voting Site
The Chatham County Board of Elections voted to approve an early voting site for Cary’s 2023 municipal election. This will be the first time Cary has had a designated early voting site in Chatham County. For more information, visit carync.gov/elections.
Wall of Honor
Cary Council and staff are proud to announce that Karen Mills, Debra Grannan, Howard Manning, and Howard Johnson are the newest additions to Cary’s Wall of Honor. The Wall of Honor is the highest level of recognition for staff and citizens whose transcendent contributions have shaped the community and are woven into the fabric of Cary forever.
