Cary Art Daze Grant Application Sample

The deadline to submit an application for a Cary Art Daze Grant is Friday, November 15, 11:59 p.m.

One goal of the Festivals Committee is to return money to the local community in the form of grants to nonprofit organizations. The Cary Art Daze grants program is directed toward arts programs or projects that benefit Cary and its citizens. This year the committee is pleased to offer community groups $40,000 from the 31st annual Spring Daze Arts & Crafts Festival and the 48th annual Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival, both occurring in 2024.

To date, the Festivals Committee has awarded over $900,000 in grants to various non-profit organizations.

Priority is given based on the following criteria:

1) Cultural art focused projects

2) Projects that support overall Cary initiatives

3) Projects that support downtown Cary initiatives

Organizations must be Cary-based non-profits (501(c)3) with a federal tax identification number.  Organizations may submit one application describing a single project they wish to have funded.  Cary based non-profits may collaborate with other Cary-based non-profits when submitting an application.  However, one of the non-profit groups must be identified as the organization of record that will manage grant funds.

NOTE: Proposals submitted without documentation of non-profit status will not be reviewed.

This application is a public record under North Carolina law and will be shared with third parties upon request and without notice.
