Job Descriptions:
Booth Sitter - A great booth sitter wants to explore the festival while they volunteer, enjoys walking and discovering new artists and is great at staying connected via text. As a booth sitter, you’ll help our artists by giving them much-needed breaks. After checking in at volunteer headquarters and providing your cell phone number to the booth sitter dispatch, you’ll walk the festival and await a text message directing you to a booth that needs coverage. It’s a fantastic way to experience the festival while supporting our artists! Booth sitters can be 15 or younger if registered for the same shift as a guardian that is 18+.
Festival Greeter - Do you have a warm and welcoming presence? Do you love chatting with new people? Do you enjoy spending time outside? If you answered yes to all three questions, you'd be best suited to be a festival greeter. As a festival greeter, you're the first point of contact for many festival attendees. Your responsibilities include greeting guests, handing out booklets and maps and answering guest questions. Festival greeters can be 15 or younger if registered for the same shift as a guardian that is 18+.
Information Booth Assistant - You'd make a fantastic information booth assistant if you love helping others find what they need, enjoy interacting with a variety of people and thrive in a dynamic and lively environment! As an information booth assistant, you'll be at the heart of the festival, ensuring guests have a smooth and enjoyable experience. You will answer guest questions and provide directions to attractions inside the festival. Information booth assistants must be 16+.
Load-In and Load-Out Assistant - The perfect load-in and load-out assistant likes being outdoors, active and on their feet, enjoys spending time outside and prefers their shifts before or after the festival. Load-in and load-out assistants are key players in helping vendors get set up for the festival and packed up at the end of the festival. Your assistance not only supports the vendors, but also helps maintain the festival's reputation for organization and efficiency, paving the way for more vendors to join us at future events. Load-in and load-out assistants can be 15 or younger if registered for the same shift as a guardian that is 18+.
Lunch Detail Assistant - Hungry for a fun volunteer opportunity? This role would be a good fit for you if you want to reach your step goals by the middle of the day, enjoy spending time outdoors and are organized and well oriented, i.e. you can read the festival map. Lunch detail assistants ensure artists who've ordered boxed lunches receive their food and stay fueled throughout the festival. Starting at volunteer headquarters, you'll sort and label artist lunches before venturing out into the festival to deliver lunches and brighten days. Lunch detail assistants can be 15 or younger if registered for the same shift as a guardian that is 18+.
Merchandise Booth Assistant - An amazing merchandise booth assistant likes being outdoors, folds t-shirts like a pro and can chat about festival merchandise with guests! Merchandise booth assistants get to interact with festival guests and help them find the perfect tee or tote to remind them of the amazing time they had at this year's festival. You'll be partnered with a lead volunteer who will help you ring up transactions. Merchandise booth assistants must be 16+.
Vendor Check-In Assistant - Age 16+: Awesome vendor check-in assistants are good at giving clear directions, enjoy spending time outdoors, and prefer their shifts to begin before the festival - either on Friday evening or Saturday morning! Vendor check-in assistants are one of the first faces that artists and vendors see when they arrive at the festival. They assist staff with checking vendors in by locating their vendor packets and passing them along to lead volunteers. Vendor check-in assistants must be 16+.
Vendor Hospitality: Delivery - Consider volunteering as a vendor hospitality delivery assistant if you want to reach your step goals by the middle of the day, enjoy spending time outdoors, and like brightening people's day! Get ready to bring smiles and refreshment to festival artists! Vendor hospitality delivery assistants will be part of a team of four, working together to deliver water and snacks to artists throughout the festival. Vendor hospitality delivery assistants can be 15 or younger if registered for the same shift as a guardian that is 18+.
Vendor Hospitality: Suite - Age 16+: You might want to volunteer in the vendor hospitality suite if you prefer a shift located indoors, know how to brew a tasty pot of coffee, and enjoy keeping your space tidy and organized. Vendor hospitality suite assistants ensure artists and vendors feel appreciated and well-cared for at the festival! As a vendor hospitality assistant, you'll make sure the tables stay stocked with fresh coffee, cold water, and delicious snacks. Help make our vendor hospitality suite a highlight for vendors and volunteers alike! Vendor hospitality suite assistants must be 16+.
