Celebrate Earth Day the Cary Way! Held in conjunction with Cary Spring Daze each year. Festival highlights include compost bin and rain barrel giveaway, recycling tips, garden ideas, greenway maps, an electric vehicle demo, and much more. Enjoy family-friendly booths, Q&A with Town environmental experts, and exciting giveaways all about living green in Cary.

Past years' Earth Day Lane booths included:

• Cary Greenways: Bike, hike, or jog in our urban forests
• Cary Urban Forestry Program: Learn about trees, plants, and pollinators
• Cary Recycling: Keeping waste out of the landfill
• Cary Environmental Outreach: Join us in keeping Cary clean and forever green
• Cary Stormwater Education: Explore green techniques to slow, capture, and absorb rainfall
• Water Bottle Refill Station: Free, reusable water bottles available while supplies last (or bring your own)
• Green-Themed Children's Play Area: Free make-and-take activities
• Waste Education Station: Learn about composting, recycling, and more ways to celebrate, learn about, and volunteer in the environment on the Environmental Outreach page.
